What is the Miami Valley Recreation Activities Council?
MVRAC is organized and run by members that work within various parks and recreation departments located within the
Miami Valley. All agencies share an interest in offering positive, educational and fun programs for Miami Valley residents and their families to participate and enjoy together. Activities are available throughout the year and are held at a variety of locations throughout the Miami Valley area. Every effort is made to keep the program fees to a minimum. Anyone living in the Miami Valley area is welcome to attend MVRAC’s organized activities. Check with your local parks and recreation department to see how you can get involved.

A:Any resident of the Miami Valley can participate in all of our activities.

A: Many of the activities are designed with specific age groups in mind which is listed in the event information. Contact the event location for more specifics.

A: Member agencies of MVRAC supply staff members to run the events. For some events, such as the fishing derby, parents are encouraged to stay and help. Parents are always welcome to volunteer to help with any event, please contact the location of the event to find out about volunteer opportunities.
